Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern use of RouteCam, developed by Lolozo Games.
By installing or using RouteCam, the user states that they have read and agree to these Terms and the app's Privacy Policy.
If the user does not agree to these Terms, they should not use the app.
2. Purpose of RouteCam
RouteCam allows compatible device resources to be used for video recording without audio, organizing and playing recordings, protecting files, deletion, saving copies and user-initiated sharing.
The app may also associate location information with recordings when the user enables that option and grants the required permissions.
RouteCam is not a navigation system, vehicle safety system, emergency service, collision detector, remote-tracking system or guarantee that evidence of any event will be produced.
3. Driving safety
The user is fully responsible for operating the vehicle safely and complying with applicable traffic laws.
RouteCam must not be configured, handled or viewed in a way that distracts the driver or compromises safe driving.
Whenever manual interaction is required, the user should perform it only while the vehicle is stopped in a safe place or through a passenger, where permitted.
4. Legality of recordings
The user is responsible for using camera, video recording, location and sharing features in accordance with applicable law where the user is located.
Rules concerning recording public roads, people, private property, restricted environments, license plates, location and sharing images may vary by country, state, municipality or context.
The user must not use RouteCam to invade another person's privacy, conduct unlawful surveillance, record prohibited content or engage in any unlawful activity.
5. Device permissions
Certain features depend on system permissions, including camera access and, when enabled by the user, location access.
If a required permission is denied or revoked, related features may stop working or operate in a limited way.
The user can manage permissions through device settings, subject to the options provided by the operating system.
6. Recording, background operation and Auto-start
RouteCam may allow a recording started by the user to continue while another app is in use, within the capabilities and restrictions imposed by Android and the device. Android may keep a visible notification during this operation in accordance with system rules.
When the user enables Auto-start in Settings, recording may begin when RouteCam itself is opened. RouteCam does not monitor or detect the launch of Waze, Google Maps or other apps to start recording.
Recording continuity may be affected by factors outside Lolozo Games' control, including:
- the system terminating the app;
- battery or power-saving restrictions;
- insufficient storage space;
- overheating;
- camera unavailability or failure;
- device restart or shutdown;
- permission revocation;
- manufacturer or operating-system limitations;
- hardware failures.
The user should not rely on RouteCam as the only means of recording a critical event.
7. Local storage
Recordings are kept locally by the app according to its architecture and settings.
The user is responsible for maintaining sufficient device storage and periodically checking that recordings considered important remain available.
Lolozo Games does not guarantee recovery of files deleted by the user, the system, a storage failure or the cleanup mechanisms configured in the app.
8. Recording protection and cleanup
The app may provide a feature to mark or protect certain recordings from automatic cleanup routines.
Protection provided by the app is intended for internal organization of recordings and is not an external backup or a guarantee against data loss.
Unprotected recordings may be removed according to automatic-cleanup options configured in the app.
The user should save or copy to another location any recording whose preservation is important.
9. Saving, exporting and sharing videos
Save and Share are separate actions initiated by the user.
When the user chooses Save or export, RouteCam creates an MP4 copy at a destination selected by the user through Android without moving or deleting the original stored by RouteCam. The saved copy must then be managed separately by the user.
When the user chooses Share, RouteCam opens Android's sharing interface and transfers content only after the user explicitly selects a compatible app or service.
Lolozo Games does not select the recipient, and RouteCam does not automatically upload recordings to Lolozo Games servers. After content is handed to the external app or service selected by the user, subsequent processing is subject to that third party's terms, features and policies.
10. Location
Associating location with recordings is optional and depends on user authorization and availability of the device's location services.
Coordinate accuracy, availability and freshness may vary. When enough data is available, RouteCam may show a mini-map as route context. This is not navigation, professional tracking or a guaranteed-precision record.
11. Permitted use
The user agrees to use RouteCam only for lawful purposes.
Except where permitted by applicable law, users may not:
- use the app for unlawful surveillance or privacy violations;
- use recordings obtained unlawfully;
- interfere with, bypass or exploit security mechanisms;
- copy, modify, redistribute or commercialize the app without authorization;
- reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise exploit the software without authorization;
- use Lolozo Games trademarks, interface, code or content in violation of intellectual-property rights.
12. Intellectual property
RouteCam software, visual identity, text, graphic elements, organization, trademarks and other proprietary content belong to Lolozo Games or are used under license.
Installation grants only a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
Recordings made by the user remain the user's responsibility, with no transfer of ownership of those recordings to Lolozo Games.
13. Availability and compatibility
Lolozo Games may update, correct, modify or discontinue features to improve compatibility, security or operation.
Performance may vary depending on device model, camera, storage, Android version and manufacturer restrictions.
Uninterrupted recording or permanent compatibility with all hardware or future operating-system versions is not guaranteed.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lolozo Games will not be responsible for:
- loss of recordings resulting from device failure, lack of storage, configured cleanup, user deletion or system interruption;
- fines, penalties or damages resulting from use contrary to traffic, privacy or recording laws;
- consequences resulting from driver distraction;
- misuse or improper disclosure of videos saved, exported or shared by the user or by third parties selected by the user;
- an expectation that a recording will be accepted as evidence or fully capture a particular event.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer-protection law.
15. Privacy
Handling of permissions, location and other app-related information is described in the RouteCam Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
16. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app, applicable law or services used.
When a material change occurs, the updated version will be made available on the official Lolozo Games website with its effective date.
17. Applicable law
These Terms will be interpreted under applicable law, including Brazilian law where applicable, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in the user's jurisdiction.
