Privacy Policy
Effective: September 6, 2026
Summary: RouteCam's core features operate locally on the device. In the Android version covered by this Policy, the app has no Internet permission, app backend, Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising or login system. Location is optional and audio recording is disabled.
1. Responsible party and contact
RouteCam is provided by Lolozo Games. For privacy questions, contact contato@lolozogames.com.
2. Camera and recordings
RouteCam uses the rear camera for recordings initiated by the user. Original recordings are stored locally in app-managed storage and can be played, protected or deleted within RouteCam.
3. Audio
Audio recording is disabled in the Android version covered by this Policy. That version does not request the RECORD_AUDIO permission.
4. Optional location
Location is not required for basic recording.
When authorized, RouteCam may locally associate Android-provided information with a recording, such as latitude, longitude, accuracy, altitude, speed, speed accuracy, bearing, bearing accuracy, timestamps and mock-location status, when made available by the system.
This information remains in a local companion file and may be used by the app to present route context, including a mini-map when enough route data is available. The mini-map provides route context only and is not a navigation feature.
The Android version covered by this Policy does not request ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION.
5. Background recording and Auto-start
A recording started by the user may continue while RouteCam is not visible, including while another app is in use. Android provides this operation through foreground-service capabilities and a visible system notification.
On Android versions that require notification authorization, the app may request the corresponding permission so the operation remains visible in accordance with system rules.
Use of a foreground service does not silently grant permanent background-location access. RouteCam does not request background location.
When enabled by the user in Settings, Auto-start can start recording when RouteCam itself is opened. RouteCam does not monitor or detect the launch of Waze, Google Maps or other apps to start recording.
6. Storage, protection and cleanup
Original recordings are kept locally. Users can delete and protect recordings. Protected videos are excluded from automatic cleanup while protected; older unprotected recordings may be removed according to the retention rules configured in the app.
7. Saving, exporting and sharing videos
Save / export
When the user chooses to save or export a recording, RouteCam uses Android features to create an MP4 copy at a destination selected by the user. The original is not moved or deleted by this action. A saved copy is outside the original file's retention lifecycle and must be managed separately by the user.
Share
When the user chooses Share, RouteCam opens Android's sharing interface so the user can select a compatible app. RouteCam does not choose the recipient on its own.
After the user selects an external app or service, the shared content may be processed by that third party according to its own features, settings and privacy policy. Share does not represent automatic upload of recordings to Lolozo Games servers.
8. Network, cloud and third parties
In the Android version covered by this Policy, RouteCam does not use an app backend, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, an advertising SDK, an authentication system or cloud storage provided by Lolozo Games. The manifest for that version does not contain android.permission.INTERNET.
External apps or services selected by the user through Share are independent from RouteCam and may use network, cloud or other forms of data processing according to their own policies.
9. Permissions
Camera access is required for recording. Approximate and precise location permissions are optional and are used only for location and route-context features.
RouteCam uses Android foreground-service capabilities to allow a user-initiated recording to continue when the app is not visible. Android keeps a visible notification during this operation.
The Android version covered by this Policy does not request RECORD_AUDIO, ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION or MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, and it does not contain android.permission.INTERNET.
A legacy WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE declaration limited to maxSdkVersion=28 may be introduced by the camera library. It is not equivalent to modern Android all-files access.
10. User-initiated sharing and sale of data
RouteCam does not automatically send recordings or associated location information to Lolozo Games servers.
When the user explicitly chooses Share, Android may hand the content to the external app or service selected by the user. From that point, processing performed by the third party is subject to that third party's policies and practices.
Lolozo Games does not sell recordings or associated location information processed by RouteCam.
11. Security
Original recordings use app-managed storage. No device or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
After a user saves a copy or shares content with another app, the security and processing of that content also depend on the selected destination, Android settings and any external apps or services authorized by the user.
12. Retention and deletion
Recordings remain on the device until deleted by the user or removed by automatic cleanup rules applicable to older unprotected recordings.
Copies saved outside RouteCam's main storage are outside this lifecycle and must be deleted separately.
Content handed to an external app or service through Share may also remain under that third party's control. Deleting the original in RouteCam does not automatically control copies or data maintained outside the app.
13. Children
RouteCam is intended for use as a dashcam and is not specifically designed for children.
14. Privacy rights and contact
Depending on the region, privacy laws may provide rights concerning personal data. Because core features process recordings and optional location locally in the Android version covered by this Policy, much of this information can be managed directly through the app or Android.
Information the user chooses to hand to external apps or services through Share is also subject to those third parties' policies and available controls.
