1. Acceptance and the child's responsible adult
These Terms of Use govern use of Tap & Discover, developed by Lolozo Games.
Because the app is intended for children, download, installation, configuration and use should take place under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By making the app available to a child, the responsible adult states that they have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy applicable to Tap & Discover.
If the responsible adult does not agree to these Terms, the app should not be made available for use.
2. Purpose of the app
Tap & Discover provides an educational and recreational experience based on images, words, sounds, numbers, categories and small missions, with simple interactions appropriate to the app's purpose.
The content is intended for education and entertainment. The app is not a substitute for educational, medical, psychological, therapeutic or other individualized professional guidance.
3. Account and local operation
In the current version, Tap & Discover does not require an account or login for normal use.
Interaction counters, progress, preferences, missions and other information needed for operation may be stored locally on the device, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Local information may be erased, for example, if the app is uninstalled, app data is cleared by the system or user, or in certain device-restoration situations. Lolozo Games does not guarantee recovery of progress or preferences deleted from the device.
4. Audio and text-to-speech resources
The app uses audio files and may use text-to-speech (TTS) resources available on the device.
Voice availability, pronunciation, quality, language and operation may vary depending on the operating system, device manufacturer, installed TTS engine and settings selected by the responsible adult.
When a third-party TTS engine is used, its operation may be subject to that provider's terms and policies.
5. Parent and guardian area
Tap & Discover may provide an area for parents or guardians, separated from the child's main navigation and protected by an adult step.
The responsible adult is responsible for configuring the options available in that area and for ensuring that use of the app is appropriate for the child.
6. Permitted use
The user and responsible adult agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Except where permitted by applicable law, users may not:
- copy, modify, redistribute or commercialize the app or its content;
- attempt to bypass security mechanisms or areas intended for responsible adults;
- reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise exploit the app without authorization;
- use Lolozo Games images, audio, text, trademarks or other materials in a way that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights;
- use the app fraudulently, abusively or in a way that harms its operation.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its visual identity, text, graphic elements, organization, software, trademarks and other proprietary content are protected by applicable law and belong to Lolozo Games or are used under license.
Installation grants only a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
Third-party content, where used, remains subject to the rights and licenses of its respective owners.
8. Updates and availability
Lolozo Games may correct errors, improve features, change content, update compatibility and make new versions available.
Certain features may vary across devices, Android versions, languages or voice engines. Lolozo Games does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or permanent compatibility with every existing device.
9. Limitation of liability
Lolozo Games seeks to keep the app functional and appropriate to its purpose but does not guarantee the complete absence of errors, interruptions or incompatibilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lolozo Games will not be responsible for losses resulting from misuse of the app, unauthorized device modifications, third-party failures, deletion of local data by the user or system, or use contrary to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer-protection law.
10. Privacy
Information handling related to the app is described in the Tap & Discover Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app, applicable law or services used.
When a material change occurs, the updated version will be made available on the official Lolozo Games website with its effective date.
12. Ending use
The responsible adult may stop using the app at any time, including by uninstalling it from the device.
Lolozo Games may limit or discontinue versions or features when necessary, subject to applicable law.
13. Applicable law
These Terms will be interpreted under applicable law, including Brazilian law where applicable, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in the user's jurisdiction.
